It was about fifteen minutes after Agito arrived at the home that Itsuki finally rolled in. He didn't come in through the front door because he was in some part irritated about losing the race he'd started to keep Agito's mind off of Kaito to begin with. He had a scrape on his cheek, a bruise on his shoulder, and he wore his manbag around his neck while he diligently crept into his room via ladder and sliding glass doors.
His ATs were now off and safely in his manbag. He wore his shoes and on the corner of his mouth he wore some kind of smile. Maybe he wasn't as upset about losing as he would have been if it was anyone else in any other circumstance.
In fact, his expression began to look devilish while he slipped the door open with his eyes closed.
Why, he could say he'd been here all along if Agito wasn't up here! Hahahaha he could say, while Agito was still waiting out front to gloat. What the hell took you so long?!
With that in mind, he passed through the door and dropped the bag on the floor, staggering the two steps it took to get to his bed and fall on it without even taking a look around him.

As soon as Ikki had opened up, Agito was standing there with a bowl of rice in his hand with two wooden chopsticks stuck in the center. Mikan had made it and gave it to him before trotting out to meet up with the 'girls', which most likely meant Ringo and Ume. There was a frown on his face as he opened his mouth, seeing the smile on Ikki's face he decided to close it and stuck the bowl out to the other's chest. For some reason this was the only way he could thank Ikki for showing up at the time he did, because Akito would've never done anything in the first place.
Waiting for the other to take it his head turned away, he wasn't going to mention the race, rather he was going to let Ikki believe what he wanted. Even Ikki's appearance was tarnished for such an unimportant race.

Itsuki made a noise that sounded like oohf! And then he opened his eyes.
...
Agito.
He looked down at the bowl and lifted both of his hands to take it, looking as puzzled as if Agito had just handed him the entire world on a platter instead of a bowl of rice. "Haaaaaah?" he wondered, one eye squinted shut, simply Looking at the other's face and trying to analyze.
His head tilted from one side to the other to examine the rice, and he stretched one leg out to double check that the door was actually shut. It was. "Did you have any?"

"No," Agito said, turning his head back up right, his eye piercing at Ikki's form. Just in case of Ikki felt bad about him not eating he finally stated, "I'm not hungry." After that was said he turned his back to the other and starting to walk forward, searching the area for anything that might be of use to preoccupy his time. A sigh came from him as he lifted his right hand to his jaw, cheek and face, checking if there was any unusual bumps in the flesh just in case Kaito had done that much harm. Unfortunately his back had hurt from the punching and the jostling, and he did over do it with the fancy tricks on the way home.

It occured to him that he hadn't had the chance to have an Agito in the house as often as an Akito, and when there was an Agito it usually had something to do other than sit in Itsuki's room. Akito was far easier creature to pacify because it didn't really get bored.
He didn't know how to take care of an Agito, and even though that really shouldn't have been his responsibility, he was starting to think of things like that. Two months ago he wouldn't even have considered it, but Agito and Akito had no family and had nowhere else to go -- and the girls could only do so much.
"'Haht's iht hor?" he wondered as he sat down on the floor. It was probably meant to be 'What's it for?' but his mouth was already full of rice.

"..What?" Agito asked, turning back around to see if Ikki was there, but his head dropped to see the other male sitting on the floor. Crossing his arms over his chest he slowly moved closer to the other and sat across from him, the unusual eye staring at Ikki. It was the type of stare that could get annoying because someone had a hard time trying to figure out where they were staring considering the pupil was slanted. Soon he moved his legs up so that his forehead could drop down on his knees, at least it felt nice to sit down and rest his back.

Itsuki didn't answer until the rice was half gone from the bowl. Afterwards he placed the two chopsticks next to each other and laid them across the top. He held it in one hand and kept the chopsticks in place with his thumb. Two rustles of clothing later, Itsuki thrust it forward until the hard glass met with Agito's forehead. "You're too fucking skinny," he accused, nudging again. "So take the rest of it. They won't give you anymore if they think you ate one bowl already and won't buy that bullshit of 'I need to eat for two!'"
Believe him, he already tried. 'Akito ate. Agito didn't! Let me take something to him!' 'THEY SHARE THE SAME STOMACH, INGRATE!'
This sort of niceness was rare.

Agito wasn't watching Ikki at the time until he felt something thunk against his head and he rose it sheepishly to see that the bowl was held out to him. This was weird, Ikki giving up food..? Agito eyed it for awhile until he felt the bowl nudge him again. "Fine-just-agh-stop hitting me with the damn bowl!" he said curtly while taking the bowl from Ikki, giving him a half glare before he stared down at the rice. Now, since his head was bowed Ikki wouldn't catch his smile. Instead, he picked up the chopsticks and placed them in his fingers for an orderly position to eat.
Agito started to eat the rice quietly, while watching Ikki to make sure he was happy.

For his part, Itsuki parted his lips and inhaled a deep, deep breath. He exhaled the sigh of martyrs out of the corner of his mouth and looked like he was trying to fight to keep something from spilling off of his tongue. He siiiiiiighed again and closed his eyes, shaking out of his jacket and wondering if he felt like losing his pants.
He opted against this -- for now.
"It's not so bad," he said after a short pause, one dark set of eyelashes raising to watch Agito out of the corner of a hawk-like eye. "I stopped."

Agito raised his right brow when he noted Ikki's very odd behavior, but he continued to eat the rice quietly before he knitted the brow down instead. Whatever Ikki wanted to say was becoming irritating, and the other's fidgeting and sighs made him blink widely. "Huuuh?" Agito asked, the chopsticks lowering into the bowl to show that he was finished.

Ikki had another problem: He couldn't keep his mouth shut; he liked to brag. "Yeah!" was his answer, a grin slicing the bottom of his face in half. But at least he wasn't foaming at the mouth and trying to prove his masculinity against a boy smaller than himself. Or even sulking -- sulking didn't suit him at all.
Something had happened on the way that made him feel like he didn't lose that race at all.
"Y'know, after that building with that steep slanted roof! I was gonna beat the shit out of you by getting here first, but I rolled down it and jumped."
It hadn't been high enough to even catch the slightest glimpse of the wind road, but oh -- it'd been high.
It went without saying that Ikki had gone back at least once because he'd never done that before.
It also went without saying that Ikki promptly forgot he was supposed to be racing.
It also went without saying that Ikki had a problem with doing this when he got caught up in the moment with something he really liked.
"Next time," he still looked infuriatingly pleased. "I'm not gonna lose!"

Agito watched Ikki, noticing how the other was having a hard time explaining something. Idly he had moved the bowl back and forth with his fingers as his eye slanted in anticipation for what the other was going to say. At first he wasn't really sure what he was talking but until Ikki had made it to the end: Next time. The only thing he could do was grin and give a nod of his head to show that he was listening. "Next time," Agito agreed not wanting to discourage Ikki at the moment, he was feeling generous for some reason. Slowly he moved his hands out and grasp the bowl in his palms to slowly raise to his feet, flinching as he did so, damn back. Walking near to the sink he set the bowl down before looking back over to Ikki. "..." the only thing he could do was sigh.

The loss still chewed at him, but it wasn't something he wouldn't get over. He'd had an opportunity to learn something from Agito's movement and that had been good enough; nothing had been at stake and something had been gained.
Besides, Agito deserved it for what he went through today.
Something else started to bug him while he watched Agito pick up the dishes. Ikki closed his eyes again, frowned for a moment, and thunked his head back against his mattress. The reason for the frown became obvious when he opened his mouth: "It's gonna be harder for you now that he knows where Akito goes to school. Good thing it lets out soon."
It was at that moment that Ikki decided he wasn't going to let Akito out of his sight if he wasn't with other members of the team. "Go take a bath if you want and sleep in the damn bed. Your back's probably gonna bruise."

There was silence from him when Ikki had spoke, and his eye dropped to stare at the counter. Suddenly there was a loud bang that followed a rattling noise from the bowl that had been jostled on the counter. His fingers were curled into his palm as he gritted his teeth. Perhaps he wouldn't let Akito go to school, but it was Akito idea to go in the first place. "Fuck," he said loudly as he moved away from the counter to the door to look back over his shoulder and shoot Ikki a death glare. "I'M FINE!" he screamed at Ikki, opened the door and literally slammed it shut to go out for a 'walk'.
The whole way he had went out on the sidewalk, his eye was twitching. Yes, he was in pain but he wouldn't admit to that. But Agito couldn't help the way he was..
